Politics and Wings with Lewis MacKenzie

Please join Justina McCaffrey, Conservative Candidate for Kanata-Carleton, as she welcomes special guest Lewis MacKenzie for a night of wings, politics, and good company.

This is a great opportunity to discuss Canada’s defense policies with a man who helped shape them. General MacKenzie will also discuss how best to support our veterans and to remember the fallen.

Lewis MacKenzie has been a leading patron of the Never Forgotten National Memorial in Cape Breton and of the humanitarian aid group, ICROSS. A retired major-general, General MacKenzie served his country for 36 years and is the first Canadian to be awarded a second Meritorious Service Cross. He has authored Soldiers Made Me Look Good: A Life in the Shadow of War and the best-seller, Peacekeeper: The Road to Sarajevo.

Lew is active in motor racing, and in 2017 was inducted into the Canadian Motorpsort Hall of Fame.
